Amy Bassin is a New York City artist whose work questions how we interact with urban environments and how to use art to free ourselves of our own self-imposed or culturally imposed personal and cultural restraints.

The two artists met online and started to discuss new ways of displaying art out of gallery spaces. They decided to produce postcards sized photos with street scenes were art is displayed on bus stops and news stands, instead of advertisements. So they exchanged photos of their respective cities, trying to capture unique aspects of each one and swapped out with their own artwork. Excited by the first results of this collaborative work, they have decided to expand the project globally, using social networks to meet and collaborate with other artists, envisioning a future real public exhibition.
